This embroidered coat of arms patch is part of a limited collection of merchandise by Anette Gellein, produced on the occasion of the Artist’s solo exhibition entitled Tender Endings at Kunsthall Stavanger.
Created in collaboration with PRYD.
Materials
Thread: 100% rayon viscose
Backing: 100% unbleached cotton
How to apply the iron-on patches:
1. Always make sure that what you are ironing on is heat-resistant and will not melt. Check the garment's care label for ironing information.
2. Set the iron to high heat, equivalent to cotton/three dots.
3. Peel off the paper on the back of the iron-on label.
4. Find the desired location and place the label on it with the back side down.
5. Cover with baking paper and iron with pressure for 10-15 seconds.
6. Turn the garment inside out and repeat the process on the back.
The iron-on patch should be machine washable at 40 degrees. If you are applying the iron-on patch over a knee, or somewhere else with a lot of movement, it is a good idea to sew a few stitches along the edge by picking up stitches along the embroidered edge.
